On July 10th 2023

A volcano called Litli-Hrútur erupted in the South-West of Iceland.

On this day, I also opened a solo show in Rýmd, (Reykjavík, Iceland) called “burial of a decent childhood“ to celebrate 24 days of being 24 years old.

In the show, I set ablaze 99+2 candles in 99+2 hand-made ceramic candle holders. The candle holders were shaped and coloured after summery butterflies and the vague memory of a broken vertebra in my lower back.
